Young Business Roundtable, a recent addition to IMPACT, is a networking group for young adults aged 22-45 from various professional backgrounds. YBR was formed in response to a growing demand for professional networking opportunities, in addition to the existing social opportunities offered by IMPACT. Three YBR breakfast events per year allow young professionals to meet and learn while growing their network of colleagues across the Baltimore Jewish community.

AVOID MISTAKES:
Avoid partnerships that are unnecessary, but never burn bridges. Don’t strain your personal or business relationships, because you may come to depend on those same people. Take care of your employees and give them a reason to come to work.
BATTLE THE ECONOMY:
It IS possible to take advantage of a down turn in the economy if you’re smart about it. Many companies are struggling to maintain business operations, while missing sales opportunities. The instability and insecurity of competitors in your field can allow you to thrive and concentrate on growth.
ALWAYS REMEMBER:
1. A good service industry will always be needed.
2. Be flexible and let your employees do what they do best.
3. Cultivate relationships with your clients and employees.
4. Develop a strong network of advisors you can depend on.
5. Don’t do everything yourself – define the tasks, then hire the right people for the job, and slowly step away.
